Following on from the successful fun runs in 2009 and 2010, we are very pleased to announce the 2011 Ashdown Fun Run.

The Conservators of Ashdown Forest have kindly agreed again that we can hold our run at Chelwood Gate again in 2011, and once again we will be supporting St Peter and St James Hospice.

The run will be open to all over 16 over a distance of 5km across the beautiful Ashdown Forest. In previous years this has proven to be a very popular event and applications must be made in advance. The map of the 2011 route is available here.

The Fun Run will start and finish from Chelwood Gate Village Hall, Beaconsfield Road, Chelwood Gate - see the map in the Contact Us section.

 

The entry fee for the run is only £5 - with an additional £5 donation to St Peter and St James Hospice and Continuing Care Centre.

The Fun Run took place on Saturday 18th June 2011 in spite of the weather's attempts to wash us all off the Ashdown Forest. Thank you to all who took part and we hope to see you again in 2012.
