Danehill Queen's Platinum Jubilee

The Ashdown Summer Party 2018

Saturday 23 June 7:30pm – 2:00am

The Summer Party is the headline event of the 2018 Ashdown Weekend.

The bi-annual party in the big tent – a Pimms reception for early arrivals followed by live music by Atlantis.  There will be a disco after the band have finished, and this promises to be a great evening.

Bring your own picnic and refreshments on tables and chairs which are supplied. When booking please leave a reference to let us know who is your head of table.  There will be a fully licensed bar operating during the evening.

Set up from 4pm onwards and please don’t be after 7pm otherwise it’ll be chaos!

The Pimm’s reception will take place at 7:30.

Dress to impress – no formal dress code so anything from smart casual to black tie.

We’ve had a number of people ask about the format – especially timing and tables – so some more information.  The idea is that the party is similar in format to the Ashdown Ball, but a less formal affair.  Timings wise, things are similar to previous years so the Pimms reception at 7:30 followed by eating at around 8ish.  People arrive and eat at different times, as always, but we expect the band to go on around 9pm for their first set.  People are free to drop off picnics from 4pm before going home to change, or you can bring it along with you later (if so, please do come around 7pm to make logistics a bit easier).  In terms of tables and seating we are going to have a smaller number of larger tables: Think more street-party long table style seating than a number of round tables.  We will seat people together if we know you’re part of a group: During the checkout, you can state whose “table” you are sitting on – just put the same name here and you’ll be seated together.  We expect to be able to accommodate groups of up to 16 together easily, if you have more we can do it but one end of your group may be a long way from the other end.

Tickets are no longer available for The 2018 Ashdown Summer Party.
